Hospitality & Management
Hospitality Management
Develop practical skills across hospitality, business and management, with pathways into international study and service industries.
Overview
The world’s most memorable hospitality is no longer measured only in service. It is measured in experiences: moments designed so carefully that guests carry them home. This programme teaches you to create them.
It is a programme for those who love to delight people and want to lead: in hotels and restaurants, events and tourism, luxury and travel, and the experience businesses of the future.
Your journey begins with two years at KCIC, Chennai, earning a UK-regulated Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management. The hospitality industry, the customer experience, sustainability, leadership, marketing, events and business strategy form your foundation, with real work experience along the way.
Then, two years in Helsinki at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, in the Hospitality and Tourism Experience Management programme. Taught in English, alongside students from around the world, you master experience design, experiential marketing and imagineering, complete professional work placements, and write a thesis of your own.
You graduate with the Bachelor of Hospitality Management, known in Finland as restonomi (AMK), from one of Europe’s most forward-thinking hospitality schools.
The Haaga-Helia Way
Where hospitality becomes the design of experiences.
At Haaga-Helia, the programme rests on four cornerstones, built into every module: working-life orientation, business management, aesthetics and internationality.
Your major is Experience Management: how experiences and transformations are designed, delivered and marketed, from experience design tools to the gamification of guest journeys. Around it, you choose from specialist studies in luxury, sustainability, technology and AI in hospitality, travel, events and nature-based tourism in Finland.
You study in modern facilities in Helsinki: from autumn 2026, Haaga-Helia’s hospitality teaching moves to its Pasila campus and new premises in the Mall of Tripla.
Here, every lesson asks the same question: how will this feel to the guest?
