School of Engineering offers four bachelor degree study abroad pathway programs, part in Cornerstone and part abroad, and an HND (Higher National Diploma) in Aeronautical Engineering. We have close relationships with RMIT University in Melbourne Australia, Institute of Technology, Carlow - Ireland and the University of Hertfordshire in the UK offering final parts in their campuses. Cornerstone is the first school in Asia to offer Aerospace with Pilot Studies making it attractive by collaborating flying classes with engineering research

The qualification focuses on preparing job-ready aircraft engineers. You will learn the most updated technologies, designed and delivered by engineers currently working in the sectors.

Students will have onboard experience on a live Airbus 320/Boeing 737 aircraft, allowing the students to learn practically at an industrial facility. Students learning at Cornerstone will learn the latest technology from the industry connection, rather than learning the obsolete single engine technology, taught in traditional engineering colleges


This course is designed to meet the growing aviation industries demand of 25000 skilled engineers by 2020. You will undergo familiarization training on live Boeing 737 & Airbus A320 aircraft to understand Aircraft Aerodynamics. You will also learn the Electrical, Power and Distribution Systems, Airframe Mechanical Systems, Composite Materials for Aerospace Applications, Turbine Rotary Wing Mechanical and Flight Systems. And continue to learn the Aircraft Flight Control Systems, Aircraft Propulsion Principles and Technology, Aircraft Structural Integrity, Avionic Systems, Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine Design and Performance Advanced Composite Materials for Aerospace, Applications, Advanced Turbine Rotary Wing Mechanical and Flight Systems and Computer Aided Design and Manufacture.

Upon completion of your degree program, you should expect to earn $ 60,000 to $75,000 per year. You will also have the opportunity to stay back in Australia or Europe to gain work experience after graduation.


Student applying for this program should have the passion for aircraft and sound knowledge of secondary level Mathematics and Physics. Admission to this program is based on student performance in the entrance interview and psychometric test. Ideal student must have completed higher secondary education (or) A level with merit profile and have completed 17 years of age at the time of enrollment.
