BTEC (Business & Technology Education Council - UK) Higher National Diploma (HND) in Construction Management is a work-related (job specific) qualification for students who desire to take their first steps into employment or are looking to gain a lateral entry into Construction Management degree programs offered by Universities in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia. There are more than 1,000 university campuses in 100 countries that provide lateral admission for the final year of a Construction Management Degree Program.
BTEC HND in Construction Management at Cornerstone offers guaranteed progression/lateral entry/advanced entry onto year 3 of a degree program offered by our partner universities abroad; arrangement is in place with the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.

Cornerstone’s BTEC HND in Construction Management was created in collaboration with a broad range of organizations such as Cundall International, Vinci Construction, Arup and Autodesk and higher education providers such as UCL, London South Bank University as well as subject experts from Leeds College of Building, to ensure that it meets their needs and expectations.
Our module includes management techniques for construction practice, legal and statutory responsibilities for the construction industry. Contracts and management, project management, management for complex building, transport systems in the building, tender and procurement, principles of refurbishment, maintenance and operations, personal, professional development, principles of electrical design and installation, site supervision and operation and construction data management.
